Pickens Jail Release Alerts
Pickens County's local jail release source is the Sheriff's 48-hour released roster, not Alabama VNS. It is useful for recent local release confirmation, but it is a short public window. After the entry rolls off, use the jail/Sheriff's Office, court record, or a records request.
For a person who has not yet gone to trial, Alabama VNS directs people to the sheriff in the county where the crime occurred. In Pickens County, that means the Pickens County Sheriff's Office and Pickens County Detention Center records. If the person was transferred to ADOC, BOP, ICE, or another agency, use the receiving agency's locator. A county jail release can be a transfer, not a full community release.

VINELink and Projected Release
VINELink can notify about release or custody changes, but Alabama projected release math still belongs with the sentencing and corrections records. VINELink Limits in Pickens County
